We all often use the word a Traveler or a Tourist interchangeably, but do you know there is a difference between a Traveler and a Tourist? There are so many differences to it but here, I am just giving you the basic difference.

5 Reasons why you should Travel
Now, I am going to give you the 5 reasons why you should Travel :
It Forces you to step out of your Comfort Zone
Believe it or not, we all love predictability. In other words, we all prefer to do those things that we already know how to do it with the people we know. It is the reason why many people don’t go to a new place, just revisit the same place they are comfortable with again and again.
Travel makes one modest, you see what a tiny place you occupy in the world ~ Gustave Flaubert
Traveling to a new place is something that forces you to go towards the unknown. You are going to a place where you don’t know how to speak the native language, generally, you have to live in a place where you don’t know the people. All of this pushes you to move out of your Comfort Zone and get rid of being a frog in a pond.
It helps you to build a Network
During travel, you meet new people of different cultures, ideologies, beliefs, and perspectives. If you talk to them, they will tell you their stories about their lives and how they ended up being here today. Some of them may become your friends, your drinking pals, coffee date partners or even a love partner.
People travel to faraway places to watch, in fascination, the people they ignore at home ~ Dagobert D. Runes
With every connection which is, temporary or permanent, you share a bond that can last for a really long time.
It is a higher Form of Education
In school and college mostly teachers give us theoretical knowledge, which is only one aspect of Education, but in real life, that’s not enough. Traveling is a teacher which :
a) Forces us to learn new things, languages, history, cultures, social skills,
b) helps us to learn so many practical things about geography, politics, sociology,
c) helps us to experience new food,
d) Gives us detail insights of the place that we can never get otherwise, and
e) makes you more empathetic by putting you in the other people situations.
Travel teaches toleration ~ Benjamin Disraeli
Its gonna help you realize that how much you don’t know
You may know the famous one-liner of Ygritte from Game of Thrones, ‘You know nothing, Jon Snow’. This can happen to you also if you travel to a new place.
The World is a book and those who do not travel only read one page ~ St Augustine
The best part is, the more you travel the more you realize that the different part of the World has achieved mastery on different things, you will come to know that people do have different colors, religions, status, but they do have the same emotions, desires, and goals as you. It is crucial as there is always a room to discover and learn from others.
Traveling challenges you to realize your true potential, what person you really are and what you are capable of, which ultimately improves your self-confidence and helps you to become an independent person.
Freedom to travel is a proof that you have Joined the ‘New Rich’
The concept of New Rich – is provided by Tom Ferriss, the author of the best selling book, ‘Four Hour Work Week’. I strongly suggest you should read this book at least once.
Too many people measure how successful they are by how much money they make or the people that they associate with, In my opinion, true success should be measured by how happy you are ~ Sir Richard Branson
Nowadays a person who has both financial and spiritual freedom is a Rich Person. Successful people do focus on one kind of currency, which are, memories, and traveling is something that can help you with that.
Now, you know the reasons why you should travel, pack your bags, leave your house, explore the world and enjoy. (Just Kidding)
Happy Traveling !!
